Conference Information

When is the conference?

It will be held from Thursday 2 September 2010, 8pm, till Saturday 4 September 2010, 5.30 pm.

Where is the conference held?

The conference venue are at Covenant EFC (Woodlands) at 90, Woodlands Drive 16 and Covenant EFC (Bukit Panjang) at 10 Jelapang Road [Live Video Feed].

How do I get to the Conference Venue?

On the days of the conference, shuttle buses will be provided from the nearest MRT stations to the conference venue and vice versa, before and after the conference. Detailed information will be given in your confirmation package.

How can I sign up?

Download the registration form, fill it in and fax or mail it to us, following the instructions for payment provided in the form.

What do the conference fees cover?

They cover seminar materials, attendance at all teaching sessions, tea breaks and lunch.

What about accommodation?

Delegates need to make arrangements for their own accommodation. You can find helpful information here.

How can I register if I don't have a credit card?

Download the registration form, fill in your details and send the form with your payment to:

You may make payment via SGD cheque or telegraphic transfer.

SGD cheque: Please make it payable to "Covenant Evangelical Free Church".

Behind the cheque, please write:

  • IDMC 2010
  • your name
  • contact number
  • name of your church

Groups may submit payment in a single cheque, as long as separate registration forms are attached together.

Telegraphic transfer (TT) [for foreign delegates]: All TT remittance fees must be borne by the registrant. Please add SGD$ 20.00 per transaction (not per participant) for the bank charges on the beneficiary's end. Details for telegraphic transfer are as follows:

Please send a photocopy of the remittance slip from your issuing bank together with your registration form. You may also fax your form and remittance slip to us at (65) 6892 1502.

What is the closing date for registration?

Conference registration is given on a first-come first-served basis and will close when we are full. If we receive your registration after the conference is full, we will hold your payment and notify you accordingly, as soon as possible. However, if the conference does not completely fill up by 31 July 2010, advance registration will close and instructions for walk-in registration will be posted on our website.

Can I do a walk-in registration?

Advance registration is highly recommended as far in advance as possible. Previous conferences have filled up completely, but if IDMC 2010 does not fill up completely, we will open for walk-in registration on 2 September 2010, the first day of the conference. Please check our website after 31 July 2010 for instructions regarding walk-in registrations and to see whether space is still available.

How will I know that my registration is successful?

Your registration is confirmed once we receive both your registration form and payment, and we will send written confirmation via email to you within two months. However, if the conference is already full at the time we receive your registration, we will inform you as soon as possible. You may also check our website for updates. When we are full, we will clearly state the closing date on our website as follows: - “All registrations received after [this date] have been placed on our waiting list.”

Refund Policy

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the conference?

Fees paid are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your registration to the person of your choice by submitting his/her details to the Registrar before 30 June 2010.

After 30 June, transfers can be made by having your substitute come to the registration enquiry booth on the day of the conference with:

a) registration form filled with his/her particulars

b) your confirmation letter

c) your nametag
